REALTORŪ Pledge
I pledge myself To strive to be honorable and to abide by the Golden Rule;
To strive to serve well my community, and through it, my country;
To abide by the REALTORSŪ Code of Ethics and to strive to conform my conduct to its aspirational ideals;
To act honestly in all real estate dealings;
To protect the individual right of real estate ownership and to widen the opportunity to enjoy it;
To seek better to represent my clients by building my knowledge and competence. |
All new Association members are required to attend our New Member
Orientation program and Code of Ethics training course. This
comprehensive program includes instructions on a myriad of issues including Bylaws, Fair Housing, Anti-Trust, MLS Rules and Regulations, Association Policies and Procedures, REALTORŪ Safety and the governing bodies of all levels of our Association.
All REALTORSŪ must complete training and commit to a professional Code of Ethics. The 3 Hour Code of Ethics will meet the NAR quadrennial Ethics Training requirement. (The
four year cycle is the same for all REALTORSŪ. The first four year cycle ended December 31, 2004. The second four year cycle ends December 31, 2008.)
New Member Orientation classes are held in our Education
Center adjacent to our Association Building.
